about

This year's album is, as the title may suggest, a collection of stories about the freshman year of college for the group. It features for the first time a majority of songs that are live performances with backing vocals added in later. The first six songs include elements of a capella and thicc chords, and then there's "The Human Event" with its wacky dissonance. Songs like "Three Parentheses" have been called "actually good." In this album, all of the lyrics were written by Robbie Cole, while much of the musical melodies were created by bassist Maynard Aspa. This album is different from other Ten-Tonners albums because of its raw feel and high quality songs, but it still has a couple meme songs added in to keep to its roots. You'll know which ones when you hear them.
